AT Central

Scheduled downtime for all AT services due to power outage January 8 and 9 from 12AM to 9AM

On January 8 and 9, 2013 from 12:00AM to 9:00AM all AT services including iLearn, CourseStream and DIVA will be offline due to a scheduled power outage affecting the J. Paul Leonard Library.

Note: The times have been corrected. AT services are down starting at midnight.

Scheduled maintenance on CourseStream server January 12, 2012 from 7:00AM to 10:00AM

On Thursday January 12, 2012 from 7:00AM-10:00AM, Academic Technology will be conducting a scheduled maintenance to upgrade the CourseStream server. During the scheduled time, CourseStream will be unavailable to users for publishing and viewing content, including Personal Capture (PCAP) lectures.

The upgrade improves system functionality but does not make any changes visible to the user. If you have any questions or concern please contact us at the AT help desk by calling (415) 405-5555 or x55555 from on campus, or by emailing coursestream@sfsu.edu.

Emergency CourseStream outage August 22, 2011 from 4PM to 6PM

CourseStream will be unavailable from 4:00PM to 6:00PM today, August 22 to correct an issue with Personal Capture. Students will not be able to view lectures on CourseStream and instructors will not be able to publish new lectures during this downtime. Any lectures that are recorded will be published once the system is brought back up. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Update 7/6/2011 9:34AM: The datacenter is back up and running. All services should be returning to normal in the next minute or so.

The AT datacenter is currently experiencing technical difficulties. We are working on the issue and will bring all of our services back up shortly.

The Academic Technology datacenter will be down for required maintenance to replace a faulty power unit on Wednesday, June 29 from 6:00AM to 10:00AM. All Academic Technology online services including iLearn, Coursestream and DIVA will not be available at that time. Please plan accordingly and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Campus power outage Tuesday, June 7 from midnight to 8AM

On Tuesday June 7, from midnight to 8:00AM, the Academic Technology data center will be offline due to a campus power outage to address the PG&E equipment failure from April 18th. In order to do so, the campus will need to shut off power to various campus buildings, including the one housing the AT datacenter. All AT services including iLearn, CourseStream, and DIVA will be offline during this time period.

End of semester CourseStream Message

Dear CourseStream Faculty,

As the Spring 2011 semester winds down, it is also time to begin planning for Summer and Fall 2011. Specifically, it's time to reserve enhanced and/or CourseStream-equipped classrooms. Faculty interested in using any of these classrooms need to consult with the department’s AOC during your department’s process for classroom scheduling or selection. Please note the following details:

Scheduled CourseStream Downtime - March 15, 2011, 6:00-8:00AM

There is a scheduled minor CourseStream upgrade set for Tuesday, March 15 between 6 and 8 am. CourseStream--viewing lectures and uploading via personal capture--will be unavailable during this time. However, recordings that are scheduled during this time will still take place.

Scheduled maintenance on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 from 6:00AM to 8:00AM

The Academic Technology data-center will be down for maintenance on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 from 6:00AM to 8:00AM to perform an upgrade on our file server. This downtime will affect all AT applications including iLearn, DIVA, and CourseStream. Please plan accordingly.
